2025 Martial Arts

The PITTSBURGH POWER is an “OPEN” martial arts tournament. We also offer WAKO divisions for all athletes. All schools, styles, organizations, and clubs are welcome to attend from karate, tae kwon do, tang soo do, kung fu, wushu, kenpo and more. Anyone who places gold 🥇 or sliver 🥈 will also be named STATE CHAMP.

Competition: All styles FORMS, SPARRING, and WEAPONS.

The Real1 Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Grappling is coming to the David L. Lawrence Convention Center on Saturday, May 16th, 2026, to provide a professional and competitive platform for the all of the region’s BJJ and submission grappling practitioners or all ages. Our mission is to provide a stage for the most well-rounded grapplers to showcase their mastery of the art of BJJ and Submission Grappling. *Register for two divisions and get half off your second division at checkout*

The Real1 Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Grappling Tournament is taking place inside of the Pittsburgh Power & Fitness Festival. This tournament offers competitors the unique opportunity to compete in a Submission Only format in both Gi and Nogi. With divisions for Men, Women, Kids & Teens, of all skill and experience levels, there is a division for every grappler. Competitors will gain free entry into the expo, where there will be vendors, food, athletic competitions, and entertainment.

Brought to you by Louis Armezzani, owner of Armezzani Jiu-Jitsu, and Tommy Costa, owner of High Ground Jiu-Jitsu. Both Lou and Tommy are third degree BJJ black belts using over 5 decades of combined martial arts experience to bring Pittsburgh the best possible competition experience.
